The British Indian 4 Annas turns up more than the 8 Annas does.

In fact,I have only ever come across 3 examples of the 8 Annas, one of which is in my collection.

@Rajen Value as usual will depend on grade. There are three types of 1939 One Rupee coins.

If you have the Bombay minted 50% silver coin then it's typical value will be in region of 60K to 75K.

If you have the Bombay minted 91.70% silver coin, the typical value will be in region of  70K to 80K.

If you have the Calcutta minted proof coins, then present valuation will be in region of 40K to 55K

1939 Half Rupee coins are pretty common. In fact common date George V Half Rupee coins are valued higher than 1939 halves.

Well I expected someone else to answer your query as I'm not an expert in market values because I don't buy British Indian coins from India

Assuming that all your coins are from Calcutta mint and are in VF grade the catalog values of 1894, 1899, 1929 & 1936 Half Rupee are 400, 400, 300 & 300 Rupees respectively.

Please consider starting new topics in 'What's It Worth' forum for value related questions in future to get maximum exposure.
