This is to notify everyone concerned, Mumbai Mint has issued the following notification:

"Due to development of new packing of RBI commemorative coins, delivery has not yet started and will commence shortly."

Hi I got following responce over mail about my query for coin delivery

********************************************************************

The delivery of RBI Platinum Jubilee Commemorative Coins was

scheduled to be made within six months from the closure of booking.

However we are in the process of developing a new packaging for the

RBI Platinum Jubilee coins, in view of this the delivery has been

delayed and would commence shortly.

Regards,

Sales and Marketing Dept.

India Govt. Mint, Mumbai.

Thanks for posting the picture!

I feel the packaging from the 1970's was much more presentable than these coins!

Congrats Mohamed :)

This new packaging resembles more like Euro year sets . I like symmetry and hence I hope this presentation pack is not a one off venture and future commemorative sets comes in similar packaging as well or else its gonna be an one odd set amongst my other blister folder sets :D

Me and numerous other collectors haven't received this set yet; so I don't see any reason for you to worry about but if you really need to know the status of your order then you have to physically go to the mint premises as they won't respond to emails or answer calls, as far as I know.
