Reserve Bank of India has announched to put in circulation of 5 Rs Coin Nickle Brass "Birth Centenary of Mother Teresa"  shortly

Looks like "Mother Teresa" 5 Rs coin is released. eBay seem to have couple of entries.

One collector informed me that Mother Teresa will be issued be all mints including Noida. Havent been able to collaborate the information but worth noting.

I would have been exciting but it's highly unlikely as no Indian commemorative till date got struck by foreign mints.

I wish to ask Rony, what is this with Kolkata Mint, they have again relaunched the booking for Rabindranath Tagore, Commonwealth Games and Luois Braille (Rs. 2 coin) sets besides the Mother Teresa Coin Set

All the Government Mints are public sector business organisation and they have the right to do anything they deem necessary to achieve sales target. Also the Louis Braille single coin proof set is a new type and it can be viewed as a relaunch.
