I came across two different varities for 2009 H'bad and 2010 Mumbai mints.

In 2009 H'bad version, you can see at pictures that "9" is different.

In 2010 Mumbai mint, size of the diamond and also font for year "2010" varies.

One possibility is of die-variety. another possibility is one of this being fake.

Your comments welcome.

These are die varities. Font  types and size differs. and exists within same mints and different mints. These should be taken for the sake of academic interest and not with a view to raise a  "PANDORAS" issue. All the above coins are real issues.    PLEASE HAVE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE NUMBER " 5 " of the 2010 issue posted above. The gap between the downward curve  is more in the upper coin than in the lower coin.

@Ranjit I wonder if you notice any difference in the obverse dies of the coins. All the NiBr 5 Rupees definitive coin mint varieties known so far have die variety occur on both sides or is it just a mule reverse?.
