well, the vending machines in delhi airport terminal 3 are giving back the change in these 5 rupee coins.

by the way, has the booking started for the 1000 rupee coin? or is it already over? why is that the kolkata mint compels us to register online before we could see the products?

@ ignoramus

If there is a product available on the mint site for booking you just have to click on ' Know Our Sellable Products ' link. There is no need to register for that. Registration is required only for booking sets.

@vivek

Just now i again visited the site. the dropdown menu shows products > product booking. it immediately shows only "user login". but there is another link on the lefthand panel, "product booking", and if you click this link, it takes you to a page, "no product  found". Strange are the ways of god and government!

This is the picture showing the option ' Know Our Sellable Products ' under the drop down menu ' Product Booking ' on the Kolkata Mint website i.e. igmkolkata.spmcil.com/SPMCIL/Interface/Home.aspx

You can see the current available products without registering.

Click on the first link to see the image.
