How much would you buy this coin for? How much is it worth at this grade?

common coin should be around Rs. 50.

In fact most of the 1935 and 1936 coins that I saw in Mumabi, Bangalore, and Chennai are usually in this grade,
some times I wonder if some one has minted it recently.

The obverse pic is not clear....Looks like there is wear in high points of king's potrait...I would have paid $15 for AU58....Slabbed low MS examples should be in $45 range....A friend of mine bought a 1935 1/4 Anna NGC MS62 BN for $52 not so long ago....hope it helps :)

Binoy,

You probably already know this but not all coins of the same year are worth the same. Always consider the grade of the coin and understand the differences in grade before throwing your time and money on coins. In mint state, you can get them all for around 3000-5000. When it is graded, the price goes to as high as 10000 Rs for MS 65 and above. For F or below it is just worth it's value in silver.
