Hi Friends,

I have one George V King Emperor 1/4 Rupee 1918 (Silver Coin) with me. I'm getting one more of these shortly. Kindly let me know what should i pay for the same.

Also, please let me know if you know any good coin dealer in Bangalore.

Cheers,

In my opinion, the price you can pay for the coin totally depends on the grade of the coin. What grade is the coin?

If the coin is uncirculated, I would pay upto 600 Rs, if it is XF 400 Rs.

This is what I usually suggest to people. A lot of these coins were minted. In 1918 alone 50 million coins were minted. So if you are collecting a coin that was minted so much, collect it in a good grade otherwise it might just be worth the price of silver in it.
