I have a couple of medallion coins in my possession, i need some clarification:

1) US one cent , 5cents,Quarter Dollar of 1980s medallion coins : Is it common for the US coins of that period to be medallion type??

2)Thailand 5 Baht medallion coin of 1990's : i couldnt find any information in Krause(2010 edition) about Medallion coins by Thailand , does anyone have any idea, whether Thailand mints Medallion coins or it mite be a die rotation error.

3) I have a swiss Half Franc 1981 medallion coin, I went through Krause( again 2010 edition), They have documented half Franc medallion coins only for the year 1982,  i believe my coin is even more rare.

4)Belgium 1 Franc medallion coin 1991 : For this i found the mention in Krause, they acknowledge the medallion coin.

Can Anyone provide some clarification on the first three points.

Thanks in Advance.

True Navonil, but i have heard in us medallic orientation coins are not that rare, Thailand i saw some coins of medallic orientation on ebay, but Krause doesnt say anything about them( my coin is 1990s) rama 9,5baht, swiss and Belgium franc are clearly documented.
